Psalm 103:6-14 (JDV)

Psalm 103:6 Yahveh executes acts of righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
Psalm 103:7 He revealed his roads to Moses and his actions to the people of Israel.
Psalm 103:8 Yahveh is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and full of covenant faithfulness.
Psalm 103:9 He will not always accuse us or be angry permanently.
Psalm 103:10 He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our violations.
Psalm 103:11 Yes, as high as the sky is above the land, so great is his covenant faithfulness toward those who fear him.
Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:13 Like a father has compassion on his children, that is how Yahveh has compassion on those who fear him.
Psalm 103:14 Yes, he knows what we are designed for, remembering that we are dust.

sky high love and east-west forgiveness

How high is the sky? The more we look, the more there is to see, and we cannot see anything beyond it. That is how compassionate our God is. We are made of dust, and only known for our sins and violations. But He is known for his mercy. He forgives, removing the consequences of our sins from us — as far as the east is from the west. Thank you, God.
