Psalms 6:8 Get away from me, all evildoers, because Yahveh has heard the sound of my weeping.
Suddenly, the psalmist is confident that his prayer has been heard. His enemies are still all around him, but that does not seem to matter as much now. In fact, he tells those enemies to get away from him. He is a believer, loved by the Lord and under his protection.
Would this confidence have come without the anxiety and tears that proceeded it?
