Psalm 1:4b Instead, they are like husks that will be blown away by the wind.
When we look out at a corn field, we don’t really see the corn. We see the stalks and husks. The corn which will be harvested is underneath. This age is like that. What God is doing is mostly invisible compared to the prideful lives of the wicked ones. But the psalmist tells us that those are just the temporary husks. They may seem substantial, but they are destined for destruction.
