Psalm 1:4a It isn’t like that with the wicked ones.
The well watered tree is contrasted with the used up husk. It does not matter how big the husk gets; it is destined for the fire.   At harvest time— that’s when we will discover our true worth. The tragedy of the wicked is that they spend their entire lives bulking up their husks. What appears to them to be success is just enlarging the surface which is to be burned up.
