Daniel 10-11:1This is one of those passages that reveal a battle going on in the spirit realm that is unseen in the physical realm, but explains what is seen. Daniel had been fasting and praying for three weeks. This angelic messenger had been dispatched to comfort Daniel and give him understanding about what was going to happen to his people. Yet, he gets there 21 days later, because another spirit being had withstood him. He might have withstood him longer, but another angel, Michael helped the messenger to get through.
LORD, when your answers to our prayers seem to delay, give us wisdom to wait faithfully. We do not know what is happening in the spirit realm.
