John 6:1-21.    Reading through this very familiar passage again, I was struck by the difference Jesus made in these two incidents narrated.

1. If Jesus had not been there, the disciples would never have thought to provide food for the 5000.
2. If Jesus had not strolled by as the disciples were rowing, the crossing of the sea of Galilee would have been just another trip.

Do you have Jesus in your life? He makes all the difference.

LORD, shatter our expectations. Make the difference in our lives.
