creature dependence

Psalm 104:27-30 (JDV)

Psalm 104:27 They all wait for you to give them their food in its time.
Psalm 104:28 When you give it to them, they gather it; when you open your hand, they are well satisfied.
Psalm 104:29 When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust.
Psalm 104:30 When you send your breath, they are created, and you renew the surface of the ground.

All of us are creatures created when God breathes his breath into us, sustained by food from his hand, and we die when he takes that breath away. Our dependence on God is not a bad thing. He is faithful to his creatures.
