wrong road

Psalm 119:25-32 (JDV)

Psalm 119:25 My throat is down in the dust; give me life through your word.
Psalm 119:26 I told you about my roads, and you answered me; teach me your prescriptions.
Psalm 119:27 Help me understand the meaning of your directions so that I can meditate on your miracles.
Psalm 119:28 I am weary from grief; strengthen me through your word.
Psalm 119:29 Turn me away from the road of lies and graciously give me your instruction.
Psalm 119:30 I have chosen the road of truth; I have set your judgments before me.
Psalm 119:31 I cling to your warning signs; Yahveh, do not put me to shame.
Psalm 119:32 I pursue the road of your commands because you broaden my understanding.

wrong road

The person who wrote these words knows the embarrassment of following the wrong road in life: the road of lies. He wants to get off that road and follow the road of truth. I know that shame as well, so I am just as eager to find the right road. How about you?

LORD, turn us away from the road of lies.
