2:1a Why are the nations so angry?

From God’s perspective, the desire of nations to break free from His rule is absurd. He created all humanity for Himself, and no nation can function properly without His guidance. The Messiah is central to restoring this relationship and addressing the dysfunction that arises from national rebellion.
