Psalm 1:5a That’s why the wicked ones will not survive the judgment

Those outside of God’s covenant of grace are merely a temporary shell, with no permanent fruit. The judgment is a harvest, and during the harvest, the husks are discarded. The psalmist encourages us to think about God and his word because that develops the inner fruit which survives the harvest.
