Psalm 1:1b Who does not walk
Walking is something that most of us can do, and we don’t think about whether we’re doing it right. But my wife and I have begun a hike of over 2000 miles. That kind of walk will take elaborate preparation. We have guidebooks, have listened to videos, and consulted with many who do such hikes regularly. We know that the success of our plan depends on taking every step correctly.
{NOTE ON THE NEW FORMAT: I WILL BE HIKING THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS — (that’s the plan anyway). While I am out on the trail, my posts will look like this. They will feature this photo (of me on the trail). They will also take the date as a title, and feature a verse (or part of a verse) from the Psalms. I will resume my study of John’s Gospel when I return. – Jefferson Vann}

    Wow! I pray that God will use this experience to draw yourselves closer to Him. And, that your trail will be level when it needs to be.

  2. Thanks for that prayer, Brad.
