evidence of wisdom

How can one judge the degree to which he or she has gained wisdom? Look at the results of the decisions you make. Specifically, do your decisions make other people glad, or cause them to worry or fear? Those closest to you will tend to be happier if you are living the kind of life that fits into God’s purpose. No matter what kind of religious beliefs you profess, laziness, hypocrisy, and violent words and actions will cause harm to those closest to you. Love, commitment, and genuineness will bring them peace and joy.

LORD, give us the wisdom to live your way, to positively touch the lives of others.
