our heart’s provider

Psalm 104:14-15 (JDV)

Psalm 104:14 He causes grass to grow for the livestock and provides crops for Adam to cultivate, producing food from the land,
Psalm 104:15 wine that makes a mortal’s heart glad – making his face shine with oil – and bread that sustains a mortal’s heart.

The creator did more than just give us food to eat. He provided a system for us to grow our own food. Our need does not end with a full stomach. We need glad hearts, reflected by shining faces. Our provider knows that. His goal is more than our wellness. His goal is our heart’s gladness.
