Psalms 3:2 Many are saying about me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah

It is the psalmist’s enemies who are boasting that God is not providing the help he needs. That makes it a whole new conflict, because it is not about personal strength or morality. They are questioning God’s existence and compassion. They are saying that God has to put up or else the worshippers should shut up.
