Psalms 2:9 “You will break them with an iron scepter; you will smash them like pottery.”

This verse describes the turmoil caused when a culture comes in contact with the gospel. The authority and wisdom of God’s word turns societies inside out, exposing the godless structures, and redeeming people from their bondage. The results are messy at first. It’s like someone has taken an iron rod to pottery. But the end result is glorious.
