Psalm 1:1e He does not stand

When Penny and I were discussing this text, we found that the progression it describes is more complex than you might think. It seems backwards. It starts with walking, then standing, then sitting. If you find yourself standing on the sinners’ road, you have already made several wrong choices. It does not matter how well you walk if you have chosen the wrong path.
