Psalm 60Why are we fighting our battles? Is it for self-preservation? Wrong answer. We fight our battles because the territory we fight for belongs to our God. He owns not only our own lives, but also the lives of those he has brought into our spheres of influence. We ask the LORD to fight for us because it is his honor which is at stake. It is his plan which must succeed.
LORD, fight for us – and keep us fighting for the right reason.
